4. Photographs and Image Rights

By submitting photographs or images to Crafty Kits, you confirm that:

you own the image or have permission from the copyright owner to use it;
you have permission from any identifiable people shown in the image where required;
the image does not infringe another person's rights.

You remain responsible for ensuring that supplied images can legally be used.

5. Prohibited Images and Content

Crafty Kits reserves the right to refuse personalised orders containing material that:

infringes copyright, trademarks or intellectual property rights;
is illegal;
is threatening, hateful or discriminatory;
is defamatory;
contains explicit or inappropriate material;
promotes unlawful activity.

6. Image Quality Requirements

The quality of the finished product depends on the quality of the image supplied.

For best results, customers should provide:

clear, high-resolution photographs;
well-lit images;
images with suitable composition;
images without excessive cropping or distortion.

Low-quality images may result in a lower-quality finished product.

Crafty Kits cannot guarantee perfect results from poor-quality source images.

7. Image Editing

To create the best possible finished product, we may make reasonable adjustments including:

resizing;
positioning;
brightness adjustments;
contrast adjustments;
minor colour corrections.

These adjustments are made to improve the appearance of the finished product.

8. Proof Approval

Where appropriate, Crafty Kits may provide a design proof before production.

Customers should carefully check:

positioning;

Once approval has been given, production may begin.

Changes requested after approval may not be possible or may incur additional charges.

9. Production Times

Personalised products require additional preparation time.

Production times depend on:

Estimated times will be provided where appropriate.

Delays caused by customers not providing required information may extend production times.

10. Changes After Ordering

If you notice an error after placing an order, please contact us immediately.

We will try to make changes where possible.

However, once production has started:

cancellation may not be available.

11. Cancellation Rights

Because personalised products are made specifically for you, they are generally exempt from the usual 14-day cancellation right under UK consumer regulations.

If your personalised item arrives damaged or has been incorrectly produced due to an error by Crafty Kits, please contact us.

repair;
refund.

13. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Customer-supplied images remain the property of the customer or their respective copyright owner.

Crafty Kits does not claim ownership of customer images.

Crafty Kits retains ownership of:

our product designs;
manufacturing methods;
templates;
layouts;
packaging;
branding;
original artwork created by Crafty Kits.

14. Use of Customer Images

Customer images are used only for:

creating the ordered product;

maintaining necessary business records.

We do not use customer photographs for marketing purposes without permission.

15. Storage of Images

Images supplied for personalised orders are stored securely.

We retain images only for as long as necessary to:
