Our lockdown crafting adventure
It all began during the quiet days of the second COVID lockdown. Approaching retirement, the idea of endless relaxation didn't quite resonate. I yearned for something practical and creative. My initial goal was to transform old computer monitors into chalk and whiteboards, a project soon to be featured on our website.
This led me to decoupage, the art of decorating objects with paper cutouts. I acquired a mountain of napkins and a newfound passion. The results were surprisingly impressive, and soon I was decorating everything in sight. Over a casual lunch, my daughter had an "aha moment," suggesting we sell decoupage kits. The spark was ignited, and after gathering more supplies, the decoupage coaster starter kit was born. The response on Etsy was fantastic, with heartwarming feedback confirming a high demand for quality crafting kits.
